We Celebrate the life and joy of Gloria annually on November 8th. Our community of friends & family get together in our family neighborhood park Marcus Garvey and kick off the season of giving and celebration of life. During this time we deliver over 50 baskets to neighboring Hospitals, gifting future mothers baskets of self/postnatal care items and some goodies for their newest family member/s. With your help, It is our dream that the baskets are 90% filled with items mom's can utilize to ease the postpartum labor. Items like uber rides to doctor appointments, childcare vouchers so they can go to much needed post care/op appointments, postnatal massages to prevent blood clots, post natal doula visits, pre-paid therapist visits.. and the list goes on!
In 2021, we started off with blessing 25 mothers who birthed at Harlem Hospital (where Gloria was born) with gift baskets filled with self care items for mommies and some necessesities for their newest addition to their family. In 2022, we happily doubled our efforts to blessing 50 mothers with gift baskets!
We are truly grateful to have such a giving community who continuously offer their support in donations of money, items for our baskets, & time to make this a reality... It takes a team of love to help protect our mothers thru post-partium
